How Kansas City gives back to Kansas City.


The Cause

KC Cause assists non-profit organizations in the greater Kansas City area by supporting specific projects with low operational overhead and by providing assistance for smaller organizations to arrange their own fundraising efforts. The vision for KC Cause is to raise money for local charities and to provide awareness about charities in our local community.


Events

KC Cause hosts the Village West WineFest, an exhibition of select non-profit organizations in the greater Kansas City area, fine wines, unique beers, food from local restaurants, live music, and fireworks. The event also features live auctions with proceeds from ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and auctions supporting select non-profit organizations in the greater Kansas City area and future fundraising events.


Benefactors

In order to maximize the positive impact that our program has in local communities, each year KC Cause will focus on a few projects in our local community where we can make a difference.

If you know of an organization that you feel would benefit from the help of KC Cause, feel free to send them our Application Form. New organizations are seleced at the end of Q1 by our Board based on submissions throughout the year.

  • Charitible Application Deadline
    The deadline for 2013 applications is fast approaching.

    The deadline for all applications is March 31. Given the delayed release of this announcement, we are extending the deadline to April 15. To download, click on the Application Form link. Fill out the form and email it to info@kccause.org. Applications will be reviewed in the month of April and the selected organizations will be notified immediately.
